Frequency counts more than amount. This is usually applied to things like cycling (10 km every day much better than an 80km Saturday, sorts of thing) but it applies to pretty much all exercise.
So might-maybe be a matter of picking what you hate the least and will do every day until you can not hate something else enough to do it every day, too.
(I try to use the occasional work-induced moment of rage as an exercise trigger. It sort of works.)
